What shipping method do you use?
For the majority of our gift baskets we use mostly UPS for ground shipping. We use FedEx for some 3-day ground shipping. Our Gourmet Cookies are shipped 3-day, 2-day or overnight via DHL. Our Fruit Baskets and shipped UPS (2-3 Day Standard Shipping or Next Day Only).
Do you offer Rush Deliveries?
In most cases, our standard delivery time is three to four business days upon the order placement. If there is a need for a Rush Delivery, please select the desired Shipping Method.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa or MasterCard, American Express and Discover through our secure merchant gateway.
What are your hours of operation?
We are available to take your orders 24/7 via our website. Processing hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm CST. Customer Service is available by telephone from 9 am to 5 pm (PST), 12 pm to 8 pm (EST).
When I place an order, how will my baskets be shipped?
We try to have all ground orders received before 11 am PST / 2 pm EST ship within one business day. All orders placed with 3 Day, 2 Day or Next Day Air Shipping by 11 am PST / 2 pm EST ship the same business day. Air orders placed after 11 am PST / 2 pm EST ship the next business day.
What is your guarantee policy?
We guarantee the timely arrival of your gifts in excellent condition. If you or your recipient is not 100% satisfied, simply let us know and we'll make it right!
Do you ship chocolate in the summer?
From May-September many of the chocolate items in our gifts are replaced with other gourmet food of equal or greater value.
If the gift basket you choose in primarily chocolate such as "Chocolate Delights," "Truffle Towers," or "Chocolate Treasures," beginning May 15th all chocolate gifts will only be available for shipping via Next Day air. There will be a $5.00 surcharge added to each order for ice and heat sensitive packaging. No damage claims will be paid for packages left outside by UPS. UPS does not guarantee perishable goods.
If the basket of choice only has one or two chocolate items, these items will be substituted. Chocolate is very tricky during the heat of the summer, and your recipient can be very unhappy with their gift if it arrives melted!
If I place an order, how will my baskets be shipped?
We have negotiated exceptional shipping rates with UPS and Federal Express, who are our preferred carriers.
Do you offer shipping insurance?
All gifts that are shipped via UPS or Federal Express are insured against loss and damage during shipping by the carrier at no extra cost to you!
Can I ship my basket anywhere?
We can ship almost anywhere. We ship all of our baskets anywhere in the United States including Alaska and Hawaii. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii takes an extra day to get there, and the charges from the shippers are a bit higher (orders must be placed by phone and takes an extra day). We also ship to Canada, but there are size limitations (orders must be placed by phone and takes an extra day). International shipments are limited to APO and FBO address only (orders must be placed by phone and takes an extra day).
Can I send a personalized message with my gift baskets?
Yes, you can! Remember to include your message in the space provided on our order form. Your baskets will arrive with your personalized gift card.
Why do you need my recipient's phone number?
The shipper must have the recipient's phone number to qualify for our guaranteed delivery service. We will not contact your gift recipients via phone unless we are having problems with delivery.
When is the last day I can place an order for delivery by Christmas?
The shippers haven't published their deadlines yet.
Do you collect sales tax?
We are required to collect Nevada Sales Tax on any orders shipped to an address in Nevada.
How long will the gourmet foods in my gift basket stay fresh?
The items packaged inside are best if consumed within 3 to 4 months.
How will I know when my order has shipped?
You will receive a shipment confirmation email after your gifts have been shipped. You can track delivery status on our website; so be sure to include an email address when you place your order.
What is your product substitution policy?
We reserve the right to substitute items as necessary. We try to avoid substitutions by having all items in stock at all times; however, occasionally we do run out of an item. In this situation we will replace it with an item of equal or greater value at no additional cost to you.
